The P-Shot® is a procedure designed to deliver lasting improvements in sexual performance to men, especially those who have lost function due to an enlarged prostate, prostate cancer, the after-effects of surgery, drug side effects and other conditions such as diabetes.
The P-Shot® procedure begins with a quick and easy blood draw. Then, using a proprietary technique, the growth factors are extracted from your blood and concentrated into the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). PRP is the injected into areas of the penis that are most important for the sexual response. These areas are numbed with a local anesthetic cream before injection, yielding little or no discomfort during the procedure.
How does the P-Shot® work?
Platelet Rich Plasma contains many growth factors and healing factors. PRP has regenerative abilities and thus stimulates healing and rejuvenation. The resulting benefits typically include tissue growth that increases the growth of new blood vessels and improved circulation within the penis, stronger erections, increased sensation and pleasure and enhanced sexual performance. Some men report changes in girth and length of the penis. Many of these benefits are experienced immediately after receiving the injection. And, because the treatment uses the patient’s blood-derived plasma, it is non-allergenic and free of harmful side effects.

How Is PRP for the P-Shot® Acquired?
A small amount of your own blood is drawn in the office (like a regular lab study) at the time of the procedure. Your blood is then spun in a specially designed centrifuge which separates the platelets and plasma from the rest of the blood. The platelets are isolated and then injected back into the body wherever their benefits are needed. Along with numbing cream on the skin, a block is performed on the penis, so there is no pain.
How do we separate ourselves from the rest?
We Incorporate, AN FDA APPROVED, Non-Invasive procedure, known as Acoustic Wave Therapy (AWT, LIST, SHOCKWAVE THERAPY) to help promote blood flow and stimulate nerve endings to the penis helping sexual performance and enhancing erections.

Is the P-Shot® Done at Vanity Medical Spa?
Yes, Dr. Robert Berberian performs all in office P-Shot® at the clinic in Teaneck NJ, as it is an outpatient procedure.
Procedure Time for P-Shot®
The PRP injection is performed in our office. It should take about 30-45 minutes from start to finish.
Post P-Shot® Protocal
You will be using a Vacuum Erection Device, is essential for achieving optimal success from the procedure. This is usually done twice daily. It requires only 10 minutes at a certain 10 PSI.
How long after after my P-Shot® can I resume Sexual Activity?
Patients can resume sexual activity about 4 hours after procedure on the same day.
What Are the Potential Side Effects of the P-Shot®?
Since PRP is extracted from your own blood, there are few and only minor potential side effects. Patient may have some minimal bruising and irritation local to injection site.
